Automotive Engineers Environmental Catalysts and Technologies,
Royston, Hertfordshire Johnson Matthey is the leading supplier of catalytic converters
for both gasoline and diesel applications. Our European Technology
Centre in Royston, near Cambridge, develops emissions control
technologies that are applied across Europe, the United States
and Asia. Development of successful products and increasing demands
for our technology has created new opportunities for mechanical
and automotive engineers. We are looking for both full-time and industrial placement students.
You will work as a member of a small team on either engine, vehicle
or motorcycle applications. Engine control unit interfacing,
data acquisition and processing, hardware design and modification,
emissions measurement, equipment programming and results interpretation
are likely to be key roles. We are looking for enthusiastic and
versatile engineers who can rise to hands-on technical problem
solving challenges. Excellent communication and interpretation
skills are also required. Ideally you should be a mechanical or automotive engineering
graduate (or student). Evidence of practical abilities is important,
as are relevant computer skills.
