Dr J C Frost Appointed Business Manager Fuel Cells

Johnson Matthey is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr J C Frost as Business Manager Fuel Cells, with effect from 1st July, 1997. This is a new position which will bring together under Dr Frost the responsibility for all aspects of JM's fuel cell activities from research and development and marketing to production and sales. Fuel Cells offer exciting potential as a fuel efficient, pollution-free source of automotive power and for local area power generation.

Dr Jack Frost has been with Johnson Matthey for four years, heading up catalyst research. Prior to joining the company he worked for nine years at BP in a series of senior research positions. He is currently Visiting Professor of Chemistry at the University of Reading. In his new role Dr Frost will report to Graham Titcombe, Managing Director Precious Metals. He will continue to be responsible for Catalyst Technology at Johnson Matthey's Technology Centre at Sonning Common.
